Kathleen S Simis, MS

Kathleen Simis has nearly 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry.

She leverages both her scientific/engineering background and experience across the entire product development lifecycle to bring a unique depth of experience to medical writing and regulatory communications. She is a published scientific author, is the recipient of an Editor’s Choice Award for a peer-reviewed conference publication and is listed on two U.S patents . Kathleen is committed to professional development and is an active member of both the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) and the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA).

Kathleen received a B.S in bioengineering and an M.S in mechanical engineering (thesis: biomaterials) from the University of California, Berkeley.

Kathleen currently lives with her family in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. In her spare time, you might find her enjoying the coastal beaches, in the mountains hiking or skiing, in her kitchen experimenting with sourdough, or in a spot of sunshine reading.
